“ Quaint is the word to describe this place. My wife and I went for lunch. She remarked that the dining area is decorated "like a grandmother's house"; it reminded me of an old-fashioned tea room. We had quiche and chicken salad sandwich entrees, and both were excellent. Good choice of sides as well. It's a bit of a drive from where we live, but we'll be back for lunch again. ”
“ This place is a rare gem. Creates an atmosphere that brings you back in time to breakfast at your grandparents. Food is so well cooked and comes out fast no matter how busy. Staff are always lovely! Makes you feel at home no matter which part of the world you come from. I used to live in Waynesboro, but moved to NH three years ago, but still try to come here at least once a year! ”
“ the place was delightful in every way. the decor makes you feel like you are at gramas house. and the food was so good I wanted to order the whole menu. will definitely be back. ”
“ Darling restaurant with delicious food in a homey but upscale atmosphere. Vintage tea sets, sugar bowls, and plates really made the meal special. Excellent wait staff. Very popular with locals, which greatly pleased this tourist! ”
“ This fine establishment is a must go to when in the Waynesboro area!! Located right down town- street parking was available, but there are several parking lots close by as well. The decor is amazing! Every table is different! They use super cute vintage dishes and decor. The food was absolutely delicious!! Staff was super friendly and manager/owner went around asking if everything was OK. Great experience! ”
“ I love this place! In a day of fast food and faster eating, this place is a gem. It's like a breath of fresh air and a step back in time. Quaint furnishings and decor, awesome wait staff, real dishes and glasses, tablecloths, antiques, quiet...and the food? Omg! All homemade, all delicious!! If you want a change from "the same old, same old" then try this place You will fall in love! ”
“ Sweet little unique place with real food and honest servers. We had a lovely meal with my daughter and couldn't have picked a better place to meet. The china was vintage and the sandwiches were delightful. The fresh fruit was delicious and certainly not run-of-the-mill. Definitely recommended. ”
“ Stopped in after leaving Shenandoah and had an excellent meal with great service (thank you Doris B!) Tomato basil soup was delicious as were the sandwiches (which currently average around 12 and come with a side). We had The Tribeca, which had nice cuts of thick turkey and fresh tasting spinach and cucumber, and The Granny, chopped corned beef and melted pimento cheese on rye. Per Doris's wise recommendation lunch was topped off with the perfectly spiced apple cobbler, which was served piping hot with vanilla ice cream. All in, our meal totaled around 55 for 2 coffees, 2 soup and sandwiches, and 1 dessert (note that there is a small credit card processing fee). The dining area is filled with antique furniture and art including a medley of vintage plateware used for meal service, which gives the space a cozy, unique atmosphere. Lunch time seems to fill up quickly so be sure to make a reservation or arrive just after they reopen at 11am for lunch. ”
